Riding for Children

How old do you have to be to go on a trail ride?

Riding for children ages 8 to 17 is based on age and skill level. However, there are wagon rides and pony rides also available for purchase for any who are kids unable to ride horses.

A short evaluation of a child’s riding ability, performed by a wrangler, is to help determine their riding level (Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced). Children will be given some instruction during this 5-minute evaluation.

Helmets are required for children under 18 years old and are available at the barns.
