Thoroughbred Golf Club
Spectacular Arthur Hills 18-hole championship golf course with bent grass tees, greens and fairways; PGA professional; Fully equipped pro shop; Complete practice facilities: driving range, putting green, practice bunker and chipping green; Instructional clinics, on-course events, shotgun starts, beverage cart, club rentals and storage available.
Gold Rush Indoor Waterpark
60,000 sq. feet of indoor fun. Waterslides, interactive toys, lazy river, wave pool and so much more. Activities for all ages.
Horseback Trail Rides
Enjoy a one-hour horseback trail ride led by one of our Double JJ Resort wranglers. We offer walk, trot and canter rides all depending on experience and weather conditions.
Age restrictions do apply.
Horse-Drawn Rides
Take a ride in one of our wagons, authentic stagecoaches or antique carriages pulled by one of our teams of beautiful draft horses.
Hayrides
Take a tractor drawn hayride, with multiple wagons, through some of our scenic back country here at the Double JJ.
Hold Ups
Our wacky Double JJ outlaws will stage a hold-up as your group arrives, kidnap your guests and take everyone by hay wagon to a place we know you'll enjoy! For even more hilarious fun, our outlaws can use bananas instead of their six shooters at your request!
Karaoke
Double JJ's entertainment team has a various selection of songs and the equipment to let your group sing to their hearts' content. Includes a Double JJ entertainment team member to MC the event.
Line Dancing
Line Dances taught by wonderful Double JJ Staff (usually Frank The 4-Foot Cowboy). The teacher explains how to do the dances so most everyone can understand how to do them and then the group does the dances at 3 different tempos.
Mechanical Bull
Take on the Double JJ Mechanical Bull! One of our Double JJ staff will operate the bull and encourage your group with entertaining commentary. We have an inflatable mat to catch you when you fall. How long will YOU stay on? Everyone must sign a waiver to ride.
Corral Games
Participate in some interactive games and events for large or small groups. It's fun for kids and adults alike!
Rodeo
Watch and admire the toughness of these cowboys and cowgirls in your group's own private rodeo. Take pleasure in viewing live performances in bull riding, bronc bucking, barrel racing, breakaway roping and chute dogging as well as audience participation games and events for kids and adults.
Campfire
Remember the smell of seasoned wood burning in an open fire? Ahhh.... Campfires provide more than warmth - they provide a focal point for people to gather around, and the crackling of wood burning encourages quiet conversation. Bring your group together with a campfire! We will get it started for you, and leave you with ample wood to keep it going. Add a hayride and s'mores, and you'll have a real treat for your city slicker group!
Cowboy Singer
Enjoy some old-time western favorites with this old-time country singer. Pine has one of the richest, most down-home voices still singing today. An excellent addition to your campfire & s'mores activity.
Casino Night
Spend a couple of hours playing Black Jack, Roulette, and Craps with Double JJ chips. Then-if you have any left-use your Double JJ chips to bid for great prizes. For even more excitement, we can set up Casino Night with an authentic "Wild West" theme.
Video Horse Racing
We provide betting slips and divide groups into teams. Use our Buck-A-Roo Bucks to place your bets and exchange your winnings for great Double JJ prizes. Usually lasts about 1-1/2 hours.
Dog Demo
Learn all about our sled dogs! Our official Double JJ Musher will explain and demonstrate how sled dogs are trained, and you'll get to see the Huskies in action. The presentation is approximately one hour in length.
Dog Sled Rides or Dog Cart Rides
This exciting ride uses our very own Double JJ Huskies. In the winter, a team of 6-8 sled dogs mush their way around the resort with you on board! Each ride can take a maximum of 2 people. When there's no snow, the dogs pull a wheeled cart. Both rides are weather permitting.
Fireworks
Our talented staff of Double JJ pyrotechnicians can put on a spectacular fireworks show for your group. What a way to end your event!
Snow Tubing
The Tubing Hill is located behind the Sundance and operates whenever it's cold enough to make snow. It is a steep, fast-paced ride down three different levels of hills. At the bottom, you can hitch onto the tow rope and ride back up. Great for all ages.
