Cattle Drives

• Experience the real-life atmosphere of an exciting cattle drive. You will move the cattle from pen to pasture in a two-hour, fun-filled adventure. Children must have at least a Top Hand ribbon and be able to have constant control of their horse.
• Available in spring, summer and fall (weather permitting).

Barrel Race and Ride-Off Competition

• Friday afternoons in the Back Forty Corral, contestants face off in preliminary barrel race and freestyle ride-off competitions! Finals are held at the Friday night rodeo. Children need a Wrangler ribbon to compete. Contestants pay an entry fee at the gate, and the winner gets the jackpot!
• Available during rodeo season, mid-May through mid-September (weather permitting)

Breakfast Rides

• Hit the trail early on horseback or haywagon and enjoy a wrangler-cooked flapjack breakfast at Carpenter Lake. Adults only.
• Available during adult-exclusive weeks on the JJ Ranch, May through October.

Steak Dinner Rides

• Enjoy a wonderful, late-afternoon ride out to beautiful Carpenter Lake. Horseback or hayride available. And the t-bone steak you'll eat when you get there is well worth the trip! Adults only.
• Available during adult-exclusive weeks on the JJ Ranch, May through October.

Lake Michigan Rides

• September and October, sign up for this 7-hour ride to Lake Michigan and back. Includes lunch. This is an Advanced Level ride, and children need a Wrangler ribbon to participate.
